Twitterpated:
An enjoyable disorder characterized by feelings
of excitement, anticipation, high hopes, recent memories of interludes,
giddiness, and physical overstimulation which occur simultaneously when
experiencing a new love. These feelings take over without warning,
usually at odd times (such as at a check-out line), with or without the
partner present, and make it difficult to concentrate on anything but
romance. They interfere with work and safe driving, but should be
experienced at least once in every person's lifetime.
I must say my favourite part is where it talks about the check out line..
and it got me thinking.
There are many many many of those "check out line" moments. In our everyday life we go through the motions not realizing that it's those moments where we are in the check out line, filling up our car, walking the busy streets of a bustling city, and many more, that at those moments when so many things are going on around us it can be a moment in which we really soul search or think deeply upon something. There is so much power in the ability to just think when so much is going on around you, then take those thoughts and then find that place whether literally or within oneself that is peaceful and that you can really just submerge yourself in the thought.
We all have those moments in our lives that we don't say a word, we keep on doing our daily tasks, yet we are thoughtful. I personally love having those "thoughtful days", as I would like to call them, because it's those days where silence is what's shown but so much careful and real thought is going on. Then, at the end of the day you are truly exhausted..not from labouring all day but from so much thought being pushed through your mind. It's kind of invigorating to have those days every once in a while to just think, let silence overcome you, and emerge with new perspectives and thoughts.
All that from the urban dictionary's definition of twitterpated :)
